Our hearts are heavy.... A beastly cancer has finally won the battle against our friends' sweet little eight year old son, Tristan. "T" was in Kindergarten when he was diagnosed with brain cancer, and everyone was elated when, after chemotherapy, the cancer seemed to have gone away!! But, sadly, the ravaging beast came back, and, this time, had no mercy on this sweet little boy...!! As a mother, I can't even begin to imagine the pain of losing a child... How does one even find the will to continue?
I will hug my children tighter, tonight...
I will hug my children tighter, tonight...
I'm sorry to hear of this sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and this sweet little boys family. Take Care. Lisa
ReplyDeleteBrain cancer is beastly, and even worse for a young child and his family. My daughter is surviving (3 years)the worst kind of brain cancer, but it is a constant worry. She wears a t-shirt that says, "Cancer Sucks". That really sums it up. My prayers go out to this family. Sally

It is beastly how cancer can strike...and such a young age. I cannot even begin to fathom the pain. My teenager will be hugged tighter tonight, for I can't imagine life without him.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers to all,

My heart goes out to this family....having a child with severe special needs myself, I know how much this must hurt. We will be hugging our little ones tighter tonight and saying extra prayers.

I saw your tears, Isabel, and my heart aches for the mother, father & siblings! This little angel has no more pain & sorrow, but the ones left behind, needs their family & friends now!
ReplyDeleteThere is a new book at "Barnes & Noble", about this little girl's fight & lost battle to brain cancer!
Please let them know that "we" are thinking about them!
Hugs your way,
Sylvi
Such sad news..losing a child has to be the most heartbreaking experience in the world. May God Bless this family.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to the little angel's parents and family. I will keep the little one in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sad thing for our community and the many who have come to love Tristan over the last couple of years. Our prayers go out to his family and others who suffer with cancer.
ReplyDeleteIsabel, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and Tristan's family.
ReplyDeleteOur thoughts and prayers with him,his family and your community. It is heartbreaking. A family in our community went through the same thing recently. Thier brave boy told them God gave him this cancer to teach others to give and love, out of the mouths of babes. My husband wrote about the loss here: http://gruv.wordpress.com/2009/01/15/it-really-is-about-perspective/
ReplyDeleteIt is a good thing to reach out and share this news so that even more people can pray for them.
Lisa
