I can't think of a better way to start the summer than with a blog garden party... The wonderful thing is that, at this virtual party, it doesn't matter if it rains, I don't have to worry about fitting into my dream dress, my feet will never get sore, and I still get to visit with some awesome people!! Floss, from
Troc, Broc and Recup is throwing a blog garden party for her fortieth birthday and I am joining in !!! Happy birthday, Floss!
I will wear one of my favorite Gunne Sax dresses, but which one...? What do you think?
... I will put on the daintiest shoes...
... and will not forget my sweet parasol!!
I will ride along the countryside on my stylish ride....
... but not before I gather a bouquet of lovely roses from my garden...
... and not before I whip up a loaf of delicious
Walnut Bread to bring along!!
Would you like to come, too? You are all invited!!!
Oh i like the pink one! Your garden is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Lisa
The pink with white sleeves will match your dress beautifully! I think a lovely straw hat is in order as well. Don't forget a fan in case it is a little warm in the garden and you will be just gorgeous. I especially love the parasol. Perhaps you can wear your lovely roses at your waist. Be sure and let us know how wonderful everything was.

ReplyDeleteOH, how lovely! I think the pink dress with the white sleves, but actually, I'm wondering if I can borrow that one myself... Thanks for such a lovely party!
ReplyDeleteOh Isabel, I wouldn't know what dress to pink from because I like both of them very much. You are going to look so sweet no matter which one you pick. Very lovely dresses.
ReplyDeleteOOps I guess trash talk is rubbing off of me. I meant to say pick not pink- I think I have pink on my mind. I'm glad I didn't mess up with this one by saying pick instead of pink. Oh I could go on and on... I've been on the computer to long trying to catch up with everybody and this is how its turning out. Bad Bad Bad
ReplyDeleteI'm off-
Ooohhh! Shall I bring the lemonade and cucumber sandwiches?
ReplyDeleteHow much fun are you? I love both dresses. Maybe you can change during the party. ~Mindy

Looks like you're all ready for summer! I haven't seen you at any sales lately. Hopefully you're finding some great things this summer. I wanted to see if you wanted to play along with my "White Wednesday"? If so just let me know and I can add you to my list and you can put my logo from my sidebar on your blog to let people know about it. I'm sure you have some wonderful white things.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!
