Just a moment ago...

Wasn't it just yesterday that I was holding you in my arms, rocking you to sleep with your favorite nursery songs...? Wasn't it just a moment ago that I saw you proudly getting into that school bus on your way to your first day of Kindergarden...? Wasn't it just a second ago that you nervously and anxiously started your grand adventure into Middle School...? Everyone told me, and now I know... Time is but a moment, don't dare blinking...

As you move into High School, we are so, so, SO proud of you, Anna!! We know you have what it takes to fulfill your dreams and achieve greatness, and can't wait for the next seconds, moments, tomorrows... We love you!!

P.S. ... Not blinking...

  2. That is so awesome that you daughter is going on to High School, Cherish each moment and each event, they will be memories for a life time. I had three daughters and we are constantly talking about the "old" days, remember when? Now they are all three grown and married and have children of their own.

  9. what a cutie pie growing into a lovely young lady like her Mom. Since I don't have children time tends to stand still for me until I see my nephews who are actually grown men now so I can relate a bit that way so now I make them call me cousin or sis so no one knows how old I really am. You must be so proud of her, CONGRATS! Laura

  10. Congratulations on your daughter's graduation. Times goes by so quickly and they grow so fast. You'll see how she'll fly through high school and become a woman right under your eyes. My son just graduated high school and it seems only yesterday that he started kindergarten :)
Enjoy every day to the fullest! Be present.

  11. I always laughed when I heard the title of the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds". To me, it was a title that belonged to our children growing up. You're so right...don't blink, pick your battles and enjoy the ride! Congrats to Anna and to you, for getting a beauty like her this far!
