Details...

A while back my son dropped my Canon D40 and the lens broke... The camera store had to order one and it took forever! I missed using my camera, so now that it's all in one piece again, I couldn't resist going around the house and playing with it... I still have to learn so much about photography, the lighting was poor today and I am still not very familiar with technical things like ISO's and apertures.... But I had fun!! As I like to say, the sweetest things in life are always within reach...!!

  3. Great job! Your photographs are beautiful. I have worked with many pros in the past and the only way to learn is to practice. Today, with digital photography you are able to see and critique your results immediately. You already have the eye for the right angles and composition, so keep it up!

  6. Oh, lovely, lovely images. Thanks so much for sharing them, and brightening a horribly over-hot evening for me!

I wonder, Isabel, if you have time, could you look at the pretty floral box which is on my blog today and give me your professional opinion on it, please? I gather it's French, even though I bought it in Scotland!
