Objets trouvés

I was very excited to find this old jewel on Craigslist last week.... I believe it used to be an old radio cabinet, I thought it would make a great wine bar or linen cabinet... I love the wood appliqué details, and even more that, when you open the cabinet doors, the appliqués are on the inside, too!!! I'll share the transformation soon!

I am also working on an old desk I bought for a song a while back. I will be showing the final transformation later in the week!!

Here are a few other finds...

  4. Oh my gosh I love your radio cabinet. I will anxiously await your re-do! I have one very similar and haven't been inspired to fix it up cuz I'm not sure what I want to do with it. I LOVE Monticello! My hubby and our boys took me there for Mother's Day! I'm in the Oregon City area. Nice to meet you.

  7. Love those old cabinets! We've had a few in the shop and always add a single shelf right about in the middle of it. People seem to buy them for bathroom towel storage but they would be great anywhere! Looking forward to seeing yours finished. :)

  10. Can't wait to see your big reveal on both projects. I just picked up a thermos just like that not too long ago - not in quite as good a shape outside but perfect inside. I took it on our girls road trip recently. Love it!

  19. Congratulations! So many beautiful finds. That Coleman beverage carrier looks just like the one we had when I was a kid. It seemed to have a very particular disposition and never wanted to release the drinks inside...either because they wouldn't come out or the button was difficult to push. It was always funny, though, and we continued to use it for many years. I somehow remember my mom making lemonade and taking it out for a picnic or on a roadtrip. Thanks for the memories! Stan
