Have you heard? Monticello debuts its Old Fashioned Christmas Show today, and I had a chance to get an early sneak peek... It looks absolutely fascinating!!! Wow, these friends of mine are truly talented, I kept walking around in awe, mesmerized by the stunning displays and creations...!! If you live in or around Portland, please make sure to visit! The show starts at 8:00 am this morning and runs through Christmas. A must see!!
P.S. I wanted to thank you all for the comments and words of encouragements you left me regarding my last post, I read them all more than once and wanted to tell you that it truly warmed my heart and it meant so much to me that you took the time to do so...!!! A mother knows what a mother feels...
Oh, how lovely! There are so many sweet things to see.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend!

Isabella, the beautiful images you post always inspire me to continue to reach for beauty. I really wanted to comment on your post about your son, but as a teacher and a mother, it was difficult for me to choose a response. One thing is certain - in the end, he will know that he is loved, and that is the best thing you could possible give him.
ReplyDeleteI'm speechless! What a lovely show! Thank you so much for letting us share this through your eyes! I would love to visit there someday! Wonderful!

I adore your photos, and am particularly inspired by that simple tablescape... I wonder if I could find some green glasses...
ReplyDeleteI also went back and read your previous post - thanks so much for writing it. I've been inspired too by reading another friend's posts about her lovely daughter, who has some difficulties. Our elder son is going through a very trying time and he and I seem to spend about 50% of our time in meetings and medical consultations at the moment... knowing that other families are also facing challenges with grace and love is really encouraging. Very best wishes to you and your wonderful boy.
gosh, how i wish I lived closer.
ReplyDeletethat just looks amazing, what a bunch of talent all in one space.
Mind blowing!!

Thank you so much for posting pictures of this wonderful event. I was supposed to be there for opening day but couldn't make the 4 hour drive. But, I get there as often as I can! Thank you for letting me live vicariously through your pictures as a substitute for being there.
