If you are as fascinated as I am about life in France in the XVIIIth century, then you will love this home as much as I do... I know, it does not follow the current trend we see for a clean, neutral palette with basic anchor pieces and minimal accessories, but this is very much what speaks to my heart... A perfect country retreat for a modern day Marie-Antoinette...
Isabel,
ReplyDeleteI love each and every picture! Personally, I'm a bit tired of the all white palette, and love to see great color in a home.
Thanks for the pictures....:)
I am so loving this home!! Gosh it is just wonderful with old elegant charm. The moldings in the kitchen are to die for! This is certainly making my heart pitter patter!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!! Now if I could just work this look more into my home!
The picture of the bedroom with what looks like the top part of an antique picture frame reminded me that, yes, I have one of those and it is hiding under the guest bed. Out it is coming!

I like it, too...it looks like actual people live there, something missing in most of the 'white' rooms.

I love this home...I am eclectic by heart and I am definitely not into the "minimalist" approach...Plus, give me color anytime. As a decorator, I think that the white and burlap is a phase that will soon be outlived. Thanx for sharing! Tiff
