Pink Saturday

It's been a while since I have been a part of Pink Saturday, hosted by Beverly from How Sweet The Sound!! You can see some of my previous pink posts here, here, here and here. I thought it was the perfect timing to make a comeback, since I just found some very sweet pink pretties I wanted to share with you!!


I love this sweet apron I found at an antique mall... The tiny rick-rack trim around the pockets is adorable!!
























I have a large collection of vintage barkcloth knitting bags, and when I saw this one at Monticello for only $9, I didn't even have to think twice!














This is the sweetest umbrella ever! All those rows of fabric were hand sewn onto the base fabric, a true labor of love... I feel priviledged to be the owner of such a sweet heirloom!!

Okay, so this is not so vintage, but it does have the vintage look!!! How sweet is this package...? I think I'm just going to put it on a shelf and tell the kids they'll lose their allowance if they even THINK about touching it... It comes to show you can find pink prettiness in unexpected packages! Have a wonderful Pink Saturday!!

Latest vintage finds

A visit to our local monthly flea market sometimes yields only a few finds, but this last weekend I came home with an incredible amount of vintage treasures....!!! My money truly went very far, as quite a few of these sweet items only cost a dollar or two...





This is the sweetest perfume bottle, love the rose painted stopper!!!

... This sweet box revealed a sweet treasure inside...

... I thought these would make great candle holders...!

Love, love, love this old shelf, I think it will make its debut at Stars in a few weeks!

... The dealer told me this was an old honey sifter...

... You know I always save my favorite for last.... I absolutely fell in love with these tiny little shoes with wooden soles.... So sweet!! I may just have to keep them...

Stars and Splendid Antique Malls in Sellwood

A few weeks ago, when I visited Madison Park, I also made a stop at Stars and Splendid, a wonderful set of antique malls in Sellwood.... Many of my friends have spaces there, incuding Lisa, Mitzi, Melanie and more!! Soon, I will join them with a small wall space of my own!!! Enjoy the pictures!
