LOVe your banner. and no candy here.. no kids young enough to trick or treat. The candy I bought to give out is gone.. and I'm on weight watchers and never touched a piece! that is amazing! have a great week! vivian
I made sure to save the good stuff, after passing out the candy I don't like as much. Hate Almond Joys, love Whoppers! No kids to steal from, so I try to buy something I'll enjoy. ~Mindy
My kids use to dump out all their candy and give me all the candy they didn't like, it worked out well for me...I also use to let them stuff themselves with candy on Halloween night so by bedtime they were more then happy to hand over their candy sacks to me and then they could pick out X amount of pieces everyday after Hallowween until the candy was gone...it work well for us.
why else do we have children (aside from yard laborers, unloading dishwashers, and taking the trash out) than to send them out to collect candy for us. Just consider it their payment for feeding and clothing them (not to mention running forgotten homework to them)... xx
My name is Isabel Feist Lang, and I am so happy you stopped by!! I was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, but one day I met my prince charming in his dress blues and now call Oregon home. I am a wife, mother of four and incurable collector!! I especially love pink roses and my favorite color is... pink!! My fondness for all things vintage has led me to a little venture selling at antique malls and shows! Thank you for visiting!
That's one of the things I miss most of my kids being grown...no candy for me!
