This awesome old crib will be a great display for my pillows, after it gets a good cleaning!
This is an old radio cabinet, I've already painted it, "shabbied" it up and it is ready to go to Monticello!
I love this dresser, it's very heavy and it will most likely get a coat of paint....
This sewing machine cabinet looks wonderful as a table!
Love, love, love the old trifold mirror!!! And the end table already came with the shabby treatment, all it needs is a crystal pull and, done!
Look at all these great vintage finds, I love the long suitcase at the bottom, it is lined inside with a robin's egg blue flannel....
How exciting to find an old schoolhouse desk! I would keep this one if I had a place for it...
Love the detail in this old floorlamp!! The top repeats the pattern...
But, I have to admit, the most exciting find of the week was this adorable polish bunny we found at a garage sale...!! I had my six year old son with me and he kept asking me to please, please, PLEASE get him one... I said no twice, then I thought.... Why not? Her name is Eva (my son chose her name) and she is the sweetest little creature!! Who could resist those smoky little eyes...?!
P.S. Lisa and I will be setting up for the Coburg Antique Faire on Saturday, September 12th, and are looking for a recommendation on a place to stay that night (the show is Sunday, the 13th). Does anyone have a hotel suggestion, or maybe know of someone who would rent a room for a night?!!! I appreciate any input you might have!!!
P.P.S. I've had quite a few people ask me about the vintage pantaloons I wore to Tarte last weekend.... Believe it or not, I bought them on Ebay about a year ago, and was delighted that they actually fit me!! Who knows, maybe I will have to start making some to sell on my (soon to be open) Etsy store!!!
