Would you be my guest?

Our downstairs den/guest bedroom/sewing room has seen a few different lives, but this is by far my favorite!! I gave myself carte blanche to go crazy with all my pretties... It all started with an antique handpainted french bed that Lisa spotted for me on Craigslist... It set the tone for the entire room. The room, though small, houses some of my favorite items, including my wallpapered dressers and my large collection of vintage barkcloth.

I still have a few more changes I want to make... One of them is to hang this gorgeous vintage chandelier I found on Ebay, the other is to display my collection of vintage barkcloth knitting bags on the top part of the closet wall. No space will remain untouched!! Would you like to come for a visit?

  21. Just love your guest room! I remember so much of it as a child growing up. The flowered chest sitting on the pink chest, it it made of cardboard as they were years ago? If so it is in wonderful condition. Love the line up of tote bags. How cute. You have an amazing collection of bark cloth which I also love. I pick up pieces here and there but am finding it hard to locate.
