This weekend I brought home this CL find... Natalie, you are the sweetest friend, thank you for the shoutout!!!! The best part about it was the price... The dresser top had a couple of rust stains, so I decided to strip it and stain the wood.... Love the wood accent, now!! This baby is ready for Farm Chicks!

I have a dresser that I have been debating whether or not to paint. Now, I know just what to do... sand and stain the top-paint the rest. Thank you. What did you use to finish the top with?
ReplyDeleteLeaving the rest - authentic shabby vintage. Great.

ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful find! So many times there are problems with the top surface of painted pieces, and I think stripping the paint is a great solution. I'm going to save your image as an example for future reference.....thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI have been seriously considering giving up my antique booth and just do a few great shows a year. My wonder woman days are numbered!!! I just want it to be fun again!!! Chin up my friend and thank you for your friendship!!!
