After our amazing first day at FC, it was so nice to unwind at Chaps, Celeste's wonderful restaurant!! The food was beyond delicious, the setting was dreamy and all our favorite people were there...

Farm Chicks Rule!!!!

I am exhausted, but still on a huge high from an amazing weekend.... This has been my most successful show ever, and I am truly thankful for all the wonderful shoppers and all the awesome friends I saw and met!!! What I love so much about this show is that, more than anywhere else, it feels like a huge family reunion, where you see all your favorite friends and you get to meet awesome bloggers who stop by to say hi!!!! That truly makes my day....

Our 7-hour trip was a riot, we always have a way of turning a boring journey into a laugh and goof fest.... See for yourself!!!!

While I was working, Mark took the kids to the water park, the movies, the mall, etc. They had a blast and would stop by the show occasionally to say hi.... It was great having them there to cheer me on....!

I have a few more pictures to share, unfortunately I didn't have a chance to get out and take many pictures, as I was extremely busy and did not have a helper (thanks Leah for coming to my rescue a few times and , of course, I could always count on my sweet friend and booth neighbor Lisa)... But I did manage to snap a few more photos, which I will share in my next post, along with some of the treasures I was able to find and bring home!!! I leave you with a  cute picture of Lisa and I... Farm Chicks or bust!!!

I was planning on showing you a few more previews, but today was an insanely busy day....!!! I spent most of the day pricing items.... With some interruptions such as dental cleaning and son's gymnastics... Did I mention we leave tomorrow at 5:00 am? And we just got done packing the trailer (and it has not stopped raining).....? And I still have not packed my suitcase...? And the WHOLE family is coming...? And I am still sewing items...? Heeeeeeelp!!!!

A few sneak peeks...

Today I fell in love.... With this beautiful dress!!!! It is hand sewn, and the fabric is absolutely stunning...!!! The photograph does not do justice! It think it will look beautiful lined up with my other sweet dresses in my bedroom...

I finally finished (with help from my hubby and his paintbrush...) the bed-turned-bench I posted about recently, and am super excited with the results! I made a pillow to go with it, and complemented it with one of my stenciled feedsacks...

I also finished a sweet lampshade covered with vintage crochet trim... It is the perfect complement to this cherub lamp. I will be back soon with more sneak peeks!!!
